Job Description
Permanent Specialty Doctor - CAMHS / PICU or Eating Disorders

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Location: South Buckinghamshire
Salary: 84k per annum

Are you interested in working in the Private Sector?

We are looking to appoint two permanent Specialty Doctors on behalf of one of our independent sector clients for a CAMHS Eating Disorder service and a CAMHS PICU unit.

You will be based in either the Eating Disorders service or the Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit within our client's specialist Children and Adolescent Mental Health Hospital, which is based in large and tranquil grounds.

Key duties include:

- To be directly involved in the treatment of young people referred to the service
- Being involved in the assessment and management of urgent referrals and/or ward referrals
- Participating in devising plans of action using a variety of therapeutic approaches
- Setting up and running client centred groups aimed at working with children/young people where appropriate
- Taking part in a first on-call rota shared with Consultants where appropriate
- Participating in the process of referral and admission both routine and emergency including preadmission assessment
