Head of Neurodiversity
Our client, a private leading occupational health provider, are looking for somebody to set up and manage a Neurodiversity Team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Medical Office you will be responsible for setting and achieving strategic objectives for the neurodiversity service and working with supply chain partners to deliver the service. As part of the role you will review, develop and maintain the service offering keeping it in line with public health and the changing health market. You will be accountable for ensuring the setup of the Neurodiversity Team is completed within the required timelines and ensure the commercial aspects of the service are viable. Using Management information, KPI reports and Satisfaction Surveys you will raise the profile of the service, support client relationships and identify ways of improving the quality of the service. You will be responsible for recruiting, maintaining and developing a highly motivated team to achieve results and meet the demand of the service.
In addition, your key responsibilities will be:
Develop internal relationships with key influencers and staff so clinical requirements are met and an effective high-quality service is delivered to our clients.
Provide clinical delivery of assessments and other neurodiversity services.
Support and manager the neurodiversity team.
Ensure operational clinical processes relating to the neurodiversity service are best practice, fit for purpose, consistently applied and audited for quality and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Essential Requirements:
Professional qualification and either AMBDA or HCPC registered as an Occupational Psychologist.
Extensive knowledge in occupation therapy and occupational psychology.
Experience as a rehabilitation specialist.
Experience of Managing a Neurodiversity Service, able to develop policies and pathways to support the service.
Excellent IT Literacy including Microsoft Office.
Capable of using own initiative, enthusiastic, motivated and able to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills â?? face to face, verbal and written â?? for attendance at meetings, report writing and consultations with clients and clinical managers.
Forward thinking, innovate problem solver with excellent organisation skills.
Strong people management skills to build sound working relationships with clients and colleagues.
