Deputy Team Manager RMN - Older Adults CMHT

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. 9am â?? 5pm
Service: Older Adults CMHT
Contract: Locum, 3 months initially (to be reviewed monthly)

Our NHS client is looking for a Band 7 Deputy Team Manager with a nursing background to provide locum cover for a community mental health service for older adults in Buckinghamshire.

The role will require working from home for 1 day per week. Otherwise, there is a need to be on site to support junior staff.

Responsibilities include:
- Line management and co-ordination for a group of staff working in the OAMHT
- Responsibility for a particular service area as well as a clinical lead responsibility.
- Care coordinator responsibilities within the care programme approach
- Working with a small number of patients with particularly complex needs.

Requirements:
- RMN qualification
- Advanced professional/clinical qualification e.g. AMHP, CBT, DBT or NMP
- Experience of working with older people and complex care in the community (generic/mental health)
- Experience of providing leadership and of supervising and managing staff
